The project comprised of three parts:

Part 1- Conceptualization and designing the heritage walk program for historic city of Indore

It included documentation of cultural heritage of Indore, archival research, preparing brochures , posters and digital graphics for heritage walks for various themes, community participation in heritage walk program, thematic and awareness programs, conducting the heritage walk program for 3 years

 

Part 2- Façade improvement programs, graphic designing and street furniture

Design proposals prepared for façade improvement including creating graphics for interpretation of history of Indore, signages designs, designing street furniture for night Sarafa bazar such as food thela, open exhibitions, wall graphics, development of plazas for Imam Bada complex and other elements.

 

Part 3- Preparing concept proposals for interpretation centres and museum in historic core of Indore

Three historic structures were identified for interpretation centre and museum. Conceptual proposals were prepared Shiv Villas Palace, Gopal Mandir and Library building.
