Interpretation centre at World Heritage Site of Red Fort
The Barrack near Chatta Bazaar inside Red Fort complex, Delhi is proposed to be converted into an interpretation museum for the Red Fort Complex. Dalmia Bharat Limited, the chosen Monument Mitra under the “Adopt a Heritage: Apni Dharohar, Apni Pehchaan” scheme is developing Visitor Centre at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Red Fort, Dethi. The ‘Adopt a Heritage’ project has been conceptualized by the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Culture and the Archaeological Survey of India. Dharohar has been associated with the work as a consultant on the Visitor Centre as a consultant to Design Factory India for Conservation, Retrofitting and Structural strengthening of a British Barrack inside Red Fort, New Delhi.
